Hello All, I am about 1500 miles over the oil change sticker in my 08 Prius Touring. I have had the car now for almost 3 months and am taking a decently long road trip this wknd... so I wanted to get the car tuned up. Anything I need to know regarding Oil Changes for the Prius? Can I just take it to the local goodyear or jiffy lube etc? Also, my air filter needs changed and tires rotated... thinking I should maybe have these issues both addressed during the oil change? Thanks for help!
Just make sure they do not overfill it. Jiffy lube and others love to overfill the oil on the Prius. Other than that, those services should be no problem.
If you haven't already done so then make sure you check the dipstick as soon as possible, so that you can assess whether or not your Prius consumes oil (and how much).
