Greetings, I have been doing LOTS of research and am likely to by my new Prius tomorrow. Thanks to all of you for the posts directed at newbies looking to maximize their mileage. These have been very educational. Any other advice for the new Prius owner? Anal-retentive that I am, I want to start tracking gas/mileage data from the start. Anyone have a good technique they want to share? Any preformatted Excel files you want to share? Thanks in advance.
No waiting lists for me. Dealer had 7 on the lot Sunday. Offered me $1,000 of MSRP on a Prius with packag 7. And when I was putting on my coat to leave he offered $3,000 above black-book estimated for my trade in. Another dealer nearby has 3 on the lot and "lots more" more coming in this week.
