Potential newbie in GA - cool factor

    My son is interested in a used Prius as his 2nd car. His current first car is a 2002 Subaru Impreza that is severely mechanically challenged. Putting too much $$ in to it.

    He's 16. We are familiar with Prius since his grandparents have owned two.

    He is interested in gas mileage and lower insurance. He is also interested in ways to dress the car up a bit.

    Tinted windows, wheels, what else?

    I know it's cosmetic but I'm trying to help him out. The choice (within reason) is his since the majority of the $$ for the car was his that he saved.

    Any other young drivers here that can validate his choice?

    Search Prius Chat plenty of Prii that have been modded (dressed up) and look better than most WRX's.

    Will definitely search more later. Need to search for the car first!! Thanks for the input. Off to search craigslist. Also to clarify... The "second" car would rescue the current car...not be an additional car.

    Replace. Not rescue. Darn phone.
