.......and unless you're letting random people on the street sync their phone to your car via BT, I don't think you have anything to worry about. Of course, unless you are downloading questionable apps into your phone...... User education and awareness goes a long way.

I am not aware of any (stock) car where the OBDII data is transmitted wirelessly. Should you, as an owner, add a wireless ODBII transmitter, it is nice to know Toyota is trying to protect you.
