I'm not sure which version you have, but every satellite radio I've used, shows the station name. Mine shows the station number, the name of the channel and the genre. I don't appear to have any settings to change the display.
The OP is referring to the presets list, which indeed on the Gen 2 Prius showed the channel name, but on the PIP shows only the number. This is only one of the really stupid regressions Toyota has done. I consider that an unaddressed "bug", along with the stupid way the station up/down buttons work on the steering wheel, the loss of the "map" button on the wheel so you can safely search for an address by pressing it while driving, the reduction of door-pocket space, the lack of a hand-hold on the cargo cover, etc. etc. etc.
Sirius XM Radio no longer has a lifetime subscription. Thought I would let you know in case you should become interested in it.
And unlike the fixed term subscription, the one lifetime I have is not transferable. When the car goes, it goes with it.
I am afraid I don't remember. It is on our 2007 Honda Pilot. But as has been mentioned, it is moot, since you can't get it any more.
Fixed term subscription? Are you talking longevity? Incept dates? (I don't know such stuff. I just do eyes...) [for greg P]
I was trying to refer to the subscriptions for some specific term, like 1 or 2 years, as opposed to the indefinite "lifetime" plan.
