I am very happy to announce that my Prius is gone ... gone ... gone. I've never been so happy. Looking forward to a wonderful life of never owning, or even riding in another Toyota product. Thanks to the helpful, and to the kind poster who hauled it away. Good BYE!
2012 Ford Expedition EL. 310 More Horsepower, Twice the weight, Three times the gas consumption, Four times the space, and Five times more fun!
No more Toyota's? I guess some people like to be punished by buying a car that gives them something to fix yearly!
Curious: What was critical reason(s) to get rid of Prius? Why avoid all Toyota products rather than simply avoiding Prius? Enjoy your Expedition!
Congratulations on getting out. I'm looking at doing the same next year. Very bland and boring interior with a goofy, cramped driver seat / wheel position no matter how adjusted. It's all a bit too dorky and weird for my taste. Too bad cause it's reliable, so good on gas, and I give props to Hybrid Synergy Drive, just not the current Prius (liftback) package. Going true midsize, maybe Accord sedan, but no gas guzzler.
I'm in my happy place. I've found true transportation happiness, for now. I only envision PHEV & EV in my future.

The Prius is not for everyone. Fired up my V10 3/4 Ton the other day and I do miss it, just not for the daily commute. Most of us wish you the best.
To be clear, despite its oddities and the nerd/dweeb factor, I like our Prius and will try to drive it to 300,000 miles, should I live so long. I would like to see a motorcycle version of the Prius, though, as I'm an old motorcyclist and DW is still willing to ride. But can't justify getting less mileage!
