I had the 1.windows tinted & front bar across windshield installed 2.Window Vent on all four windows 3. Removed hubcaps & installed center caps on wheels. Just finished! What do you think?
Looks good. The wheels probably are the best bang for the buck out there. I would add a dual pin stripe down the side just under the mirrors and would seriously consider some of the 3m spray on protectant for the front before it starts getting chipped. If you don't have it yet, I would add a tailgate protector strip. What is the foam on the front grill bar?
Love the new look, especially the wheels and tint. The window vents really complete the darker look. Where (approx) do you live and drive your beautiful v? You may enter your location in your PriusChat Profile, then members can give you better advice. I'm guessing somewhere hot or rainy because of the window vents. Lots of good threads found searching on grill block, like this one; Lower air intake block insulation | PriusChat I think you need to block the lower intake (engine coolant radiator) and not the upper one (inverter cooler radiator). You really don't want those inverter components getting hot.
+1, don't block the upper grills. Do put some fine wire mesh behind your grills to protect the radiators from stone/rock damage. SCH-I535
Yes, lower grill blocking. Full grill blocking acceptable in very cold conditions. You should also monitor inverter coolant temperature with a scangauge. It's summer, maybe you shouldn't be grill blocking at all. SCH-I535
Why do you have mpg on your scangauge, the Prius display is quite good. Here's a link to a pdf for xgauges you can program/use on the scangauge. Inverter coolant temp is on the second page: https://www.priusfreunde.de/portal/index.php?option=com_docman&task=doc_download&gid=178&Itemid=4 And here is a discussion about inverter coolant temperature (ICT) on the scangauge: Inverter Coolant Tempurature question??? | PriusChat
