I noticed today that the red (panic) button cover is lost from my keyless entry (silver Toyota logo) Gen II 2008 remote. What I basically need is a broken remote, essentially just that red rubber cover. Does someone have one they can send or know where I can get one? All I found was new remotes which cost $100, obviously not what I'm looking for. Thanks!
Search on eBay. They sell shells there that you can transfer the circuit board from your remote to. You need to compare them with what you have to get the proper one. SCH-I535
Thanks. I looked for it but only find complete remotes which I don't need - I just need the rubber red button cover (Prius 2008), so even a broken remote would work fine.

If your search for a used case fails, see a locksmith......or two. Many of them now sell replacement cases for car remotes. And if they do a lot of that kind of business, they may have something laying around that would work.
