It just seems that the paint on new cars in the last 10 years or so, is not as durable as on the older cars.
While we're on this topic, I was looking at the hood & bug deflector this site sells. I do run into a lot of moths driving into work at night due to taking quieter roads. There's also a lot of construction going on the freeway I take, so lots of dump trucks with little rocks flying around now and then. My c took some paint damage around where the deflector seems to protect, so I was thinking about getting one for my liftback. It's the winter grey color, so should blend in well with the deflector. So for whoever has one, or used a similar product, what's your opinion on them? Pros? Cons? Any damage to the hood/paint? I live in Wisconsin, but I park in a garage both at home and at work (underground parking woot. Now if only they had some charging stations, then I could've justified getting a plug-in prius), so leaves shouldn't be too big of a problem.
