I have a new 2014 Plug-In. The manual claims that there is a setting (settable through the nav system setup screen?) so that when I open the driver's door, it will unlock all the doors. I can't find this setting. At the moment, it does a very weird thing. Specifically, when I open the driver's door everything else stays as is (usually locked), whereas when I open the passenger-side front door, all the doors unlock. I don't know why this is the default behavior, but I'd really like it to do "unlock all" when I open either the driver side or passenger side front door. Any advice?
Hold the Lock and Unlock buttons on your remote at the same time for about 5 seconds. You will hear a beep. Try to lock and unlock. If it doesn't work, repeat process. This is discussed somewhere in the Owners Manual. I believe there are three different modes if I remember correctly.
that's how i changed mine to unlock all when touching the drivers handle. took a few tries, it's in the manual, but a poor translation imo.
