Non-Mettalic colors: single stage?

    Am I correct in thinking my 2005 black non metallic prius is a single stage paint?

    It would make sense, as most lexus and other Toyota blacks and whites are SS.

    single stage sounds right to me.
    Select Paint and Clearcoat Size
    says single stage ( I think ) + clear

    Two stage is base color, top coat and clear, correct?

    Correct. With white or black, when polishing the paint will actually transfer to the pad or sponge
