I'm unable to wait for the next generation (company car needs to be replaced soon) After two Gen III Prius , I wanted something different (so my heart says), but can't find anything that suits my needs better (so my head says)... Looks like I'm here for another few years, another Prius it is.... First one was red, second one was grey... you guys seem keen on Blizzard Pearl and Solar roofs Phil (in the UK)
Nothing wrong with three Pri in a row. We are on #2 and don't plan on switching brands any time soon. I think it is the best value on the planet... Best of luck to you! Ron (dorunron)
We are on our third. 2006 then 2010 and now 2014. Best car we have ever owned maintenance-wise. (And we are in our 70's, so we have had a good variety of cars!)
You could always try the Prius v (lowercase v for the Prius v wagon). The 2015 should have updated styling I hear. Bill the Engineer
Bill - I looked at the Prius v (lowercase v for the Prius v wagon) but in the UK its not available with adaptive cruise. Nexus 7 ?
Now on my third, a 2014 Prius three. Previously a 2007 Three and a 2011 three. I was thinking of keeping the 2011 until the 4th gen came out, but decided there was no reason to wait - I'll get one later!
Well, I just picked up Prius #2….. Total fail on my part getting rid of #1 (long story)... With a small trial period in between of a Chevy Cruze Eco, and a very UN ECO albeit badass hooked up '14 Charger R/T Plus (orange) at 15-17mpg like I said am back, was torn between a Two blizzard and the Persona…. opted for the Persona and now just have to work slightly harder to get the 50+ mpg now.. am loving the handling of the 17's… Oh and my #1 was a Barcelona red Three Liftback, truly a nice color, wanted the pearl white this time though..
G/F has had a 2005, a 2008, and now a 20012 ''v''. Her next will be a 4th Gen to go with my 2014 HB. We are also 70 and HATE buying gas...
Well, that's it.... New Prius ordered... Loaded up with all options to dispel my negativity Phil Nexus 7 ?
If this is a company car being replaced? Seems like your company "replaces" the company car about every 2 years? You should be about "perfect" for getting a Gen 4, after about a year of real world release. I'd say, enjoy your new Gen 3, then sit back and learn all you can about the Gen 4, and if it sounds good? It ain't that long a wait until you can get one.
Wow - that's a long wait for delivery. Did you order something really special or does it take that long to get delivery in the UK? We had a choice of three dealers that had our Prius in stock and ready for delivery.
