Hi everyone, We have a 2013 PIP (which we really love) with about 22,000 miles. We live in upstate NY but in about 4 months will be moving to West/central Florida. We would like to purchase the extended 7 yr. 100,000 mi. warranty. My questions are: Can I purchase in NY and transfer to FL? Can it be used at any dealership in the US? Where have you found the best price, it doesn't seem that it is offered through Priuschat anymore? Thank you so much for any help, Larry and family
Not going to debate the value of extended warranties, since that has already been done in many various threads. So to answer your questions: 1) Yes. 2) Yes. 3) Toyota no longer allows warranties to be sold online. So I believe you have to purchase it within your state / in person. So if you're driving from Jersey to Florida, call up different dealerships along the way, and purchase it in person from whichever dealer will sell it to you for the least amount of money.
