I'm a new member. I just wanted to say that I finally found a cloth steering wheel cover, cheap but effective, that fits my Prius Four, not IV, for 2011. I didn't want to put another leather cover on top of my already leather steering wheel. Besides, the reason I need the steering wheel cover is because I can't stand putting my hands on a freezing cold steering wheel. Anyway, I found the cover at Pep Boys, it was about $4.00, and made by Auto/Expressions, and there is even a picture on the little wrap that looks exactly like a Prius steering wheel. There is a lining to prevent slippage when turning the wheel. It isn't the greatest looking thing, mine is a leopard print, but it does the trick. They have a Web site but if you go there it automatically redirects you to a Kraco web site and you can't find the product there. I guess you just have to go to Pep Boys to get it - look in the steering wheel cover aisle and you will find them in a basket. I'm really happy to be a new member here - I love my Prius - just wish it had a heated steering wheel. My motorcycle has heated hand grips, makes sense that cars should have heated steering wheels!
actually, the synthetic leopard print is growing on me! Kinda goes with the theme of my car - full of animal rescue stuff. I'm a humane law enforcement officer with a local SPCA. My pict is of Sammy, Mastiff mix - prosecuted his owner for animal cruelty; multiple beatings by his owner - broke some of his teeth from being beaten with a shovel. He's now living the high life with a loving, forever human family and his best friend, Rollo, a guide dog! Still wishing for a heated steering wheel - maybe someday. BTW - Gloves do work, too, you're right.
