i have a uk gen II and when I took the glove box out to try and locate the source of yet another rattle this was clipped inside on the left side of the glove box Oh dear, I can't seem to get the photo to load, anyway, it's like a little hydronic strut, I thought it must be to do with the glove box opening but it seems to work just the same without it
it does. when you open the box, does it open slowly when you let it go? if there is a strut attached to one side, than that one is a spare, or the old one that was replaced.
