Does anyone know where the mic is in the Prius c? I saw some kind of a plastic thingy, whose purpose wasn't immediately apparent.
Can you provide with a picture of the area we're talking about? There's a lot of plastic thingy's inside of a Prius.
I can't attach pix to messages on this forum for some reason, but my mike is between the sun visors, nearby the "map lights" (if that's what they are called). It's a vaguely rectangular blob of plastic about 1" x 1-1/2".
It's actually a LOT easier than it was 5-10 years ago. It's now literally drag'n'drop & you can create folders if you want it organized wch I suggest as you end up using it for more things than you originally planned for. Also you can specify certain folder(s) to be private & unavailable to the general public and so on.
Check the driver side of the overhead dome light console, the earlier models had a small grid or hole in the side of this console for the mike.
Bluetooth doesn't have a mic, but your voice command feature has the mic by the overhead light assy. The Bluetooth receiver is in the display area.
^ I wonder why they didn't place the mike somewhere on the dash board. I was hoping it wouldn't matter, but it does: people told me they could hear me best when I speak more or less directly into the mike I have an alarming degree of computer idiocy. I can't even get the stupid Fuelly link to work in Priuschat
