Nice, another retrofit. What strips did you use for the DRL? Do you have any close ups? Any output shots?
Nice! Looks similar to mine. Makes you wonder why Toyota didn't put actual LEDs in there, it is not difficult and there hasn't been an issue of heat.
Thanks. I used White/Amber switching LED flexible tube from E-bay, so it acts like a turn signal too. I'll try to make a few pictures this week
Thanks for the response, I have a couple of those LED tubes in my possession for other headlight projects I am working on and find the white to be very bright but the amber is underwhelming, not really suitable for a turn signal on it's own in 100% daytime conditions, in conjunction with a dedicated turn signal bulb it would certainly be a nice compliment, so it seems like a nice fit for your build. In for more picks I would love to see a close up on how you mounted it. Thanks, Evan
