Hey all, I bought my new 2015 C4 on March 27th of this year. Today I was driving to a new doctor's office, and I programmed the address into my nav system. Didn't realize right away, but my nav froze on me. Nav said I had 2.1 miles to go to my destination, but I drove over 5 miles. Could not get the nav to unfreeze until I got to my destination (courtesy of my iPhone nav). Has this happened to anyone else? I had another car with nav for 7 years, and never had this problem. Should I take it into the dealership for them to check out?
i would. iirc someone else had their's replaced. but if it's not frozen when you take it there, they probably won't do anything for you.
Thanks. It started working again later. Just find it very frustrating when the car isn't even a month old yet!
I just recently got my pc4, and haven't put many miles on it. A couple of days ago, I was headed home without the nav system activated. Several blocks from home, I heard a chiming sound (maybe similar to a door bell) one time. I clicked "home" on the screen, and saw no display of the nav system. I got home, shut off and restarted, and all was as it should be. I can only assume that the chiming and the loss of nav are connected somehow.
