Back door won't open

    back door my 2007 prius Wont open I've opened it with the manual latch from the inside underneath in the luggage compartment and reset the power locks but it doesn't make any difference I still can't open the door from the outside has anyone else had this problem

    welcome! search for 'latch or hatch lock mechanism'. iirc there is a thread with repair/replacement instructions. by 'patrick wong' maybe? all the best.

    is your hatch handle cover turning into goo? some of the handle covers were made of defective rubber and they turn gooey and can jam up the micro switch in the handle.
