Hey all! After months of snooping I decided to bite the bullet, get rid of my 08 Prius and get a newer one. I picked up a BP 2012 Prius Four with misty gray interior. I love paying 20-30 to fill up my tank. I drive 80 miles round trip for work so this car was definitely needed. I got her used with 26,000 miles on it. This will be used to keep track of all the mods I am doing. So far I have: Weathertech front and rear black mats Weathertech black cargo tray Oem fog light kit (Purchased in PC Shop) Colgan Bra ProClip USA heavy duty center phone mount On the "to do" list next Paint badges and white carbon fiber background Turn signal mirrors Lots more iPad ?
Looks like we have another lurker that has succumbed to the peer pressure of PriusChat's Accessories & Modifications threads... May the force be with you...
White cueball shifter. It's so much more comfortable than the stock one since I rest my hand on it when I'm driving. I got it custom made from Twisted Shifterz on eBay for 25.00 iPhone ?
I do....I also have a 2015 Challenger RT Scat Pack on order that will be dubbed "Mr Hyde". The Prius is my daily driver since I do 70 miles a day round trip to work.
It's been a while since I update this. Too much going on in life now but here is where I am at now with Jeckyll... Added OEM Prius rear bumper appliqué. Had 30% tints installed all around except windshield Started test fitting the FR-S wheels using the grinding method with rings from Hubcentric-rings.com and Gorilla Automotive 21133BC Small Diameter Acorn Black Lugs Changed the footwell lighting to blue LEDs from China I also plastidipped the front and rear Toyota logos but I can't find the pictures. Frs wheels are being installed today on Continental PureContact with EcoPlus tires. iPhone ?
just curious for your footwell lighting, do you have a link for where you got your bulbs? -- was it a simple swap? have you considered doing the rest of the interior lights? I found this video today:
Daddy got a new pair of shoes. Im really happy I went with the 205/50/17s rather than the 215/45/17. Its the same height as the 15's so the speedo issue is negligible and it fills in the wheel gap. I also grinded some of the gray material out of the center caps in the front to make them fit. Next is getting some kind of decal to cover the "Scion" logo.
Yes it took about 5 minutes to do. Im going to keep the rest green. I am modding the challenger but I just wanted to give this car a little more style.
