I recently bought a used 2010 Prius II from a reputable dealer. Never thought to check whether the switches in the doors work. I have one that works manually but doesn't open/close window or lock/unlock using the switches. The lights in the switches don't come one when the switch is pushed. Suggestions?
I bet that this vehicle went trough an accident on that side and the door was repaired and the mechanics has forgotten to reconnect a wiring harness inside the door panels.
If it was as recent a purchase as it sounds, take it back to the dealer, there is usually a 90 day warranty. Let them make it right.
Thanks for replies. I'm calling dealer now. Plus even though I've opened the hood numerous times, the release cable disconnected from the latch. Rats!
It only had 58K when I got it a month ago. It was a couple of weeks before I figured out that it was the door and not me forgetting to lock the car.
