I'm trying to add a rearward facing dashcam to my Brid. Don't have a cargo area 12v power outlet. Does anyone know what amp the license plate light power supply is? I wonder if I could tap into that. Anyone know of any 12v supply lines that are hot when the car is on in that area? Or in the cargo area? Thanks. NaptownPrius
Well, the battery is back there, that should be a good source for constant +12v. Not sure if any switched power sources are back there, there's quite a few options for that further up front in the dash/engine bay.
I'm aware of the battery proximity, but really want the cam to power on with car, and off when shut down.
