hi first post on here today I'm fixing that knocking on start up hot or cold lots of posts on here about it I have new egr valve as old one is stuck open giving me a p0401 code also have egr cooler and will remove inlet manifold and clean that out and reflash ecu should do the trick What I'll don't like about my new to me Prius is the fact I can smell coolant from the exhaust tail pipe and the level drops ever couple days Checked it for external leaks none to be found let's see how I get on today will post some pics of the repair later
Hi 183k miles checked it out today looks like headgasket the oils fine Looks like coolant is leaking into one of the cylinders Thanks for advise
