So, I've had my lovely Prius C for about a month and decided it was time for a wash. Finished the outside of the car which leads into my question...how do you all detail your interior? I've picked up a few items for the inside like Armor All and such things. But I can't seem to get the clean shine I originally had on, on doors where the window controls and door locks are located. Any advice? Products you recommend? Thanks!!!!
Honestly for the inside I use Tuff Stuff. Since the C's interior is mostly hard plastic it's a breeze to clean and smells good too. It works really well and is harmless around most things except navi screens. I learned the hard way in my other car... Clean Your Car's Interior | Tuff Stuff® Automotive Cleaning Products Way better than that trash Armor all. Where to Buy - Tuff Stuff Also welcome to PC! I see you are relatively new!
I don't recommend any type of product like Armor All. Just use a swiffer duster on the dash and doors, it cleans the dust and won't scratch the plastic. If you need to wipe it down I would use a clean rag and water, its safe and will clean the plastic.
When we got the Prius c about a month ago we left our Pacific Coast duster in the trade in so had to get a new one. I've used one of these for 30 years. I'm trying something new to me "Black Magic" Tire Wet gel. I liked the look I got. Maybe others have long term experience with the product.
I've had good experiences with Griots Interior Cleaner, followed by their Vinyl & Rubber Dressing. Before doing so, wipe with a California Duster to remove excess dust.
