Well it was a mild hybrid that barely had any advantages in power, emissions or fuel economy. I've never seen an advertisement for it.
It cost more than a non-hybrid one, and the mpg gain wasn't very significant. Various car sites reported they were unable to achieve those mpg numbers stated, though in greencarreports.com's case, they at least mention they were testing it in the winter, and Nissan was unable to provide them with a one to do summer testing with. Hopefully Nissan learned something about what works and doesn't, and comes out with something similar but vastly improved in a few years.
Ditto. I think I've only ever seen 1 out in the wild. Nissan Pathfinder Hybrid 'No Longer Available,' Infiniti QX60 Twin Vanishes Too: UPDATED also mentions the QX60 hybrid is a goner.
The first time I heard of the Pathfinder hybrid was someone posting here that they bought one. And I think that was the last time I heard of it.
I got used one yesterday. Probably it was not worth $3000 premium over regular V6 ICE version when new, but as used mid size SUV, they are very affordable with fairly low mileage. Far better deals can be found compared to similarity equipped and used Highlander Hybrid. Of course, the reliability and fuel efficiency are bit questionable for this model. I will see how lucky I am.
