Painting your rims.

    Has anyone paintend the stock aluminum rims?
    Sorry update:
    Has anyone changed the color of there stock rims to say silver or a gunmetal.
    The rims are not bad looking but the black is not floating my boat.

    Only I had my 2013 Prius two for about a month or so. In real good shape. But there is a little road rash on the stock rims. Former rental cat from Hertz. Not real bad but I was probably going to clean and prep the wheels real good And spray a high gloss black.

    So no one has change the stock rim color from black to something a little more sporty

    Several members have used Plastidip spray on their wheels.

    Durable alternative to spray paint would be to have them powder coated.

    I do like the look of the rims in silver I guess I'll have a new project for the winter.
