Hi all! My name is Ian and I'm a newbie to the forum but have read a lot on here the past year and learned a ton from you guys/gals. I've owned three Prius in the last year and today I finally bought a new one that will be stay with me for the long haul. I've had a 2004 which was awesome but I sold it for no real reason. Poor decision on my pry as I should have kept that one! I missed it so much so I bought a 2005 that turned into a complete nightmare. It had over heating issues that I couldn't resolve and turned into a money pit. I finally sold it as-is today and decided to cut losses and purchase a brand new 2015 Prius Two. I love these cars - not necessarily for their looks (though they've grown on me quite a bit now) but primarily because they're just excellent drivers. I'd post a picture of my new baby but the rules don't allow me to at this time. Anyway, I hope to continue learning more from you all and I excited to be a part of the community! Cheers!
Thanks! The color I got is the winter gray metallic. My parents have a white '13 so I decided not to get the same color as the,, though white would have been my first choice.
Prius definitely have a special place in my heart! Ironically, I am a Mustang enthusiast and love all muscle cars alike. I've had over a dozen mustangs and was used to paying for the gas on these guzzlers until my father let me use his Prius while he was out of town. I instantly fell in love with the economy of the car and i told myself that I'd have one for as long as I have to commute to work. That being said, I still love my muscle cars and will always need one as a "toy," but the Prius will always be my go-to for reliability, economy, and usefulness.
