Bumper attachment piece

    I just got my Prius back from the body shop after a bumper replacement. I was examining the bumper and noticed this clearish, white plastic piece between the bumper and the frame. I could only see it on the driver side so I'm a little confused as to what it is. Is this normal or part of a poor replacement?

    Bumpers are held together by clips. That may just be part of the clip.....not sure if it's on properly or not. I would bring it back to the body shop and ask them.

    every clip I have seen is black, even the after markets...
    there should be next to no gap between the bumper and and body

    look at the clips on e bay

    I just purchased an OEM updated part for my 2010. The new part is white. The original was black.
