First Prius ever. And whoever had it before took immaculate care of it, but drove it a lot, 67000 miles already on it. I appreciate the newbie posts! I'm just nervous about the maintenance required since I am terrible at remembering when to do things as well as time seems to slip my mind. Any tips and tricks for the car that I wouldn't know about?! Thanks in advance everyone!
These cars are so smart, they'll tell when your maintenance is due right on the display.... You'll have to go to the dealer or You Tube, to learn how to turn off the message. Welcome to PC.. and enjoy your new ride.
Pretty sure she's reliable and would give thousands of quality miles. Enjoy getting good ideas here for mods and maintenance.
Awesome mate. Good choice. Just don't forget to change the electricity filter. Symptoms include extra radio static... Joking, of course ;-) Seriously though, check your oil and water, like you would a normal car. Get it serviced, like any other car. I'm sure the toyota dealer can send you a reminder. But do read the owners manual on how to jump start it if you flatten the 12V battery (not the traction battery). That is different to most cars. Easier to do that now than working it out on a dark, wet night on the side of the road.
