Hi everybody, I own a '08 Prius since August 1st. I would like to join the US community of Prius lovers. A few words about me. My name is Laurent, I'm 39 and I live in Burgundy in France, about 70 miles from Paris. I also own a '06 3 Series BMW (330xda) Touring (e91) Here are some pictures of my Prius. It's a "10eme anniversaire" version (10th birthday). It has 62500 miles (102 000km) It has the rear camera (IPA), GPS navigation, front fog lights.
Hey Laurent! Welcome to PriusChat! Nice colour! Looks like the 16" touring wheels, but the spoiler looks slightly too short for the touring package! (perhaps it's different in France?). I was just curious as to what is the right-most switch in the eighth picture?
As I know, all Prius Gen2 in France have 16" alloy wheels. They have plastic covers to protect them. The right switch on the eighth picture is the IPA (Intelligent Park Assist) one. The IPA system helps for the rear moves when you park the car. I think it's too slow, I never use it but the rear camera is usefull.
