Hello everyone, I have an issue with my 2005 prius. When I start the car, everything turns on ok but within a minute, the screen goes blank, the Lexus logo flashes repeatedly and also the Prius logo. Then i will get the consumption screen but it will have a bunch of "yyyyy" 's all over the screen and a jumbled up mess. I was able to get the screen to stay on for a couple minutes anf the touch screen does work but it wont stay on. I have unplugged the battery, and the amp under the passenger seat and nothing as solved the problem. I have no control of the radio or climate control as the screen is non- Operational. Can I get some guidance on this problem. Thank you,

No luck on the screen being the problem. I have spoke with a few mechanics and they think it's a software issue with the cars computer. They think it has a corrupt computer because when I start the car in the morning and evening, everything works great for about 5 minutes and then everything goes crazy. What do u guys think? Does Toyota has a software fix or can they wipe out the memory and reload without spending a thousand dollars on repairs.
