I bought an 06 prius from a coworker.the paperwork from the dealer said it had two bad cells.when I got it home I took out the battery.after testing all cells I had 11 below 7 v so I have replaced 11 cells with supposedly tested good cells.i also replaced the 12v battery.all lights went off then came back on ten min later.how do I get the car to run on the new batteries?
with that many bad modules, you would've been better off replacing the entire battery pack. Now you have 17 modules that can fail any time.
it's too long and complicated a process to go into detail. you'll need mini vci and tech stream from amazon, and an old laptop. best to search here for battery threads and rebuilding techniques, it's been done every which way but loose. all the best!
