Yes is fully synthetic ,a UK brand . Great price for 5L £34 pounds that is . Product: CARLUBE TRIPLE R 0W20 FULLY SYNTHETIC Nexus 5 ?
At current conversion rates, £34 is $68 (Canadian). That's $13.60 per liter. Ouch! Here I'm buying Toyota 0W20 for $5.65. Not sure, but appears to be rebadged Mobil 1. The left is the old version, new on the right:
I use Mobil 1 EP synthetic 0w-20. They rate it for 15k mile intervals, so for the toyota recommended OCI of 10k miles it should be great oil.
Ok guys ,I purchased the carlube, I will update you how it goes and if I see any difference in mpg and top ups frequency Nexus 5 ?
Carlube has the same ratings, GS-5 & SN. IMO if the products have the same viscosity & the same ratings its the same oil. Is Carlube a generic brand? I see Halfords has 1L Mobil 1 0w20 for GBP21.99!! Is all motor oil in the UK that expensive?
What's the cost of petrol over there right now? I guess any petroleum product over there is through-the-roof, compared to North America?
We're around $1.15~&1.20 (Canadian) per liter for gas (petrol) right now, about half your price, I think.
