Looking for a great repair shop in Kansas City, MO/KS area, and specifically a shop that specializes in diagnostics, so they find the root cause of problems and guarantee to fix a car right the first time. I have a 2009 Prius and also a 2006 Honda CRV. Neither of them have repair issues at this time, but I really have not found a shop in my area that I can trust to do more than maybe an oil change or belt / part replacement. Since the Prius, and all cars are such high tech machines these days the thought of taking it to the shops I have been is a scary, scary thing. Anyone know of a "great" auto repair shop in the Kansas City area, I would be indebted to have a referral.
Yes, the dealership may be the best bet, but my experience say's that may not always mean they are a quality shop.
I told Russ when I was back home for Thxgiving when I helped him out with his headlights, that Maurice at J K & M does honest work but I don't know if he knows about the Prii. J K & M Tire & Auto Repair 13313 S US Highway 71, Grandview, MO 64030 (816) 763-7007 A very honest shop in GrandView, MO. He has done lots of work for me back when I still lived in the area. If he doesn't know the Prii, I'd think that he could recommend someone. GL.
Any other news? I'd also like to find a good shop for Prius repair in KC (not a dealer, they cost too much and don't know what they are doing if it's not a routine fix)
