I just stopped at my local dealer to see the new 2016 Prius. The first thing I noticed was a sticker on the window for $500.00 over sticker price. The sale person told me he hasn't sold, any yet.
In 2006 they were asking $3,000-$4,000 over sticker, you had to wait a few months on a list and there was no guarantee what color you got...and people were happy to get one. Go figure.
I went to look at them at the dealer here near me. He told me the same thing, that they have not sold many. I'm not sure about the pricing as I was just going to look at the new body style in person. Overall, it looked pretty nice, with the exception of the back end. It just does not go with the flow of the rest of the body. It's not attractive in my opinion. The inside is okay, though a bit too glossy looking. Lots o' shine goin on in there.
