Picking up my new Prius four touring (strippy) tomorrow. Very psyched. It's a nice improvement over the gen 3 in updates and improvements. It paid about $30k out the door and the F&I manager tried to sell me gap insurance for $895. I declined and then he offered it for 1/3 off. I declined again and called my auto insurance company and they offered it to me for $8 a year. Needless to say it's very cheap to purchase after the fact. Also the extended 100k mile warranty can be had for less than the dealer offers it for, so don't feel compelled to purchase it. The last Prius I paid slightly more than $1,000 for the platinum $100,000 mile warranty.
wow! That sounds like a great price! I have a 2008 gen 2--so that must be a huge improvement! Looking forward to hearing of your evaluation!
