There is at least one too-wet Prius known now, probably others. I am putting the call out to Prius folks in Houston to report. Especially mention local Toyota shops you hold in high regard, they will be needed... Also interested in stories of Prius (all versions) that have been flooded anywhere. I reckon that 15 cm is much different from 30 cm, and higher than that may not matter as much.

Large flood, appears not finished, so everybody just hunker down and protect life and limb. Don't drive your car through water even if you think it is 'not too deep'. Don't cook indoors with unventilated charcoal etc. Don't connect your electrical generator to main circuits. People upstream from you are fixing blown breakers. Their hair on fire does not need to be.

Some of the most interesting stories were the cars flooded in NJ/NY in Hurricane Sandy. Salt water hit some new cars on the dock areas before they were shipped out. IIRC a small fleet of Fiskar Karmas burned up due to salt water exposure to the batteries, but also a few PiPs and even regular Prii smoked a bit if I recall.
