Hello 2010-2011 Prius folks, I have this 2012 PHEV rear center brace, I bought it from a Priuschat member awhile back. I remove it see if anyone wants to update their. It's improved the chassis stiffness without any rough ride quality. I slowly reverse my Prius to stock (plan to trade in for the new NX200t), anyone interested please PM me. The pictured item is the stock center brace. I took this exact brace off of my 2013 and replaced it with a Cusco brace.
The OP must've upgraded from a center brace that looked like the hourglass shaped black brace in this picture, which was oem on my 2011:
