I guess it makes sense, but have never heard of it before. Critters made a nest between the insulating board of the front hood and the sheet metal of the hood. Found it when I opened the hood and heard a cascade of seeds rolling down as I raised up the hood. Some of them spilled out. Most stayed inside. I think the access point for them must have been on the passenger side where the windshield fluid tube snakes up under the cover. Had to pry out all the plastic anchors and pull off the cover and then vacuum/clean it all out. Put a large piece of cardboard that covered the entire engine compartment area down first. The cardboard was sloped downward, so all the treasures fell on the cardboard and then rolled down and onto the garage floor. Figured it was better than it all falling inside the engine compartment. I did catch a large mouse a couple of days ago near the car. Have not caught any others, so hope it was the only one.
true, but it would creep me out to drive it, wondering if it were going to come out. i guess if it were my snake, it would be different.
Me old cat, which went to kitty heaven at age 16 a few years ago, was not too excited when I put him in the car one time when I knew there were mice in said car. Traps work pretty well. Never had much of a mice problem. Hoping this is the last issue I have for awhile. I hate prying off those plastic fasteners.
