Does anybody know what the factory specs are for the wire going from the ECU connector to the EV mode switch on a 2006 Prius? I am looking for the wire gauge and color code. I have an EV mode switch on order and I would like the mod (ha - back to factory in other countries) to look like a factory install if possible.
22 gauge i don't know the wire colors in europe, but there is no whole-vehicle color code so i don't think that will cause a problem. you do have to tap 2 wires, so keep in mind that won't look factory. good luck with the install!

I believe if you choose not to illuminate the switch, you can avoid the wire taps, and make a reversible EV mod, that could easily be removed at a later date.
