Hi All: I recently purchased a 2013 Prius with 44k miles, very excited about it. When I bought the car, the seller advertised that it has a platinum 7 year 75k miles extended warranty, which is the main reason why I bought it from them. They say will take a few weeks to get it transfer over. However, they just send me a mail to say sorry, they tried to transfer but Toyota finance does not allow. The reason given is the car is over 40,000 miles, so cannot transfer the extended warranty. Is this BS? I talked with a Toyota dealer, they said they never heard of an extended warranty not being able to transfer. Anyone know the rule for transferring extended warranty? Thanks Say
