I went to their website, and became really confused. I see Z-2, Z-3, etc. Is there a particular one that is a great polish/wax that you only have to buy one particular formula. I want to wax my car, not go to a car show. Thanks in Advance!
for the basic wax coat, go for z2. because our car is black, we throw a couple of coats of z5 on there before putting on the z2, black cars show every little swirl and scratch and the z5 helps cover some of that up. i'm sure one of the detail guys wil show up here and give you a better explanation than i can give.
I posted some before and after pictures in another thread linked here. I also included the step-by-step process that I went through to reach the Zaino shine, including the products I used. Hopefully it can provide some help. I'm really pleased with this stuff. It's rained several times since I applied it, and the water just beads up like nothing I've ever seen before. Zaino does a great job at protecting your car's finish . I've also received some unprompted compliments on the Prius's showroom shine. Z-2 is for cars with a clearcoat, like the Prius. Z-3 is intended for cars that do not have a clearcoat.
I have an 06 which I got in January. Has been washed ONLY in a touchless wash. used Z2 and the Z6 gloss enhancer. It has sunscreens. came out great ! Had a light sprinkle as soon as I finished but you can see how the water beads & shiny the finish is!
