    Yes, I understand. When you read the Toyota sales literature -- they list the 4 way passenger seat as if it is an upgrade in the 4 and 4T. It's not listed earlier.

    The passenger seat does not have height adjustment. I have seem form complaints from Corolla passengers on this cost cutting measure too. Toyota already makes the seat for the UK market. Just include it in the US version too.

    Surely it would be simple to use the Brit driver's seat as the passenger seat in the good old USA!

    Or in that just to obvious for the big T to notice?

    It's for weight. The sunroof and HUD add a good amount of weight. They wanted to keep the MPG the same in all models but the two eco.

    Lumbar inflate/deflate
    Lumbar up/down
    Cushion tilt up/down
    Cushion length extend/retract
    Upper seatback recline
    Headrest up/down
    Headrest tilt forward/back
    Seatback bolster tight/loose
    Cushion bolster tight/loose

    We're up to 24-way :)

    Then you have Ford/Lincoln going insane with the optional 30-way "Perfect Position" adjustable front seats on the new Lincoln Continental.

    oh I have the 4 way manual passenger seat. It should be powered 8-way for the price of the Four.
