DAMN! Getting a brand new Prius for, uh, let's see, carry the three, round the decimal, compensate for the Time Cube, and that's $15,850. Sweet!!
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(TonyPSchaefer @ Jun 7 2006, 04:07 PM) </div> The timing is interesting as Prius' sales have just reached 60,000 (the $3150 federal tax threshold) and I wonder if this offer was timed to go into effect to take its place when it expired. Maybe someone at Bank of America forgot to read the fine-print which said that the full tax credit doesn't stop at car number 60,001 but continues on to all cars purchased until the end of the following financial quarter. In any case, a few Bank of America employees are going to get a great deal on a Prius in the Boston area ($6150 off the price of a new Prius is as much as a 25% discount on what is arguably the hottest selling car today). I say 'a few' because at that price, I doubt there will be many around to buy.
