check engine , vsc, abs, (!) plus red (!) are lit permanently. sometimes giving buzzer sound while switching on the car ( pressing power button). brake feels not working properly. what to to guys.
The buzzer indicates a serious problem. Stop driving the car until it has been repaired. As you have been advised above, get the codes read so you know with what you are dealing.
i ve yet to check 12v battery but yes before all this mess up of lights n buzzer sound i have issues with 12 v battery every third or fourth time i have to shake / move my positive terminal inorder to get my car switched on. Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
The bracket should be tied up tight on the post. You should not be able to move it. In any case, your problem is with the brake accumulator as indicated by the last two codes. You need to determine why/where your accumulator is leaking and repair. In the USA, there is an extended warranty for this problem. Probably not the same in Pakistan. You may need to replace the accumulator and/or pump. It may be possible to get a used unit from a wreckers/salvage yard. To buy new from Toyota is pricy. You will probably need to look into the LH front speed sensor to get rid off the ABS/VSC lights when you are done fixing the accumulator.
yes u r right... m in process of talking with several people dealing with scrap cars to provide me the said part... m asking for whole abs unit as my mechanic said whole abs has to be replaced... is it so??? Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.

I just re-read this post, what does he mean by the whole ABS. In my mind I read accumulator. I'm not sure what he means by ABS, can you clarify?
here in pakistan they say if v get c1265 and c1391 then whole abs unit has to be changed Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
these are pix of what local mechanic here says.. is a ABS unit which has to be replaced Posted via the PriusChat mobile app.
If he is a qualified Toyota Prius mechanic and not just looking stuff on the "net" then he should know what he talking about. If not, I'd be a be cautious about changing a whole lot of stuff, just because he read it somewhere on the inter-webs. Has he worked through the diagnostic tree in the service manual? That is a Actuator assembly in the picture. It seems to be variously called an ABS pump and ABS computer by various (non-toyota) vendors.
