Hell all. I just picked up my 2017 Prius, and it is hypersonic red. I want gold rims. Any recommendations?
welcome, great color choice! I still have stock rims, but a few of us did some mods, fog lights. do a search, 808customs did full modifications, rims, lowered, body panels. have fun customizing your ride! stt
195/65R15 is standard, 215/45R17 is the optional size (on Touring models), but the cars are the same. The 17" rims have slightly different offset, just to accomodate the greater width. Bolt pattern and hub size is all the same.

I've always lusted after the first gen PIP rims (15"). That'd be a tasteful upgrade, sticking with 15". At least my taste.
I have seen 64 Impalas with burgundy over candy apple with gold rims. My car will be lacking the dog in the back that's head goes up and down, and the dingle balls.
I have the Hypersonic Red with stock 15" wheels. Forget the gold rims, you can't gild a lily. Enjoy the interior and leave the exterior for others to admire. If they don't like it (and they may not), you lose nothing but people with poor taste. Well, that's my story and I'm sticking with it! (Sorry Mendel).

Hey...I have been highjacked...I like the hula look. I like to personify my car. Not like a kid in my high school that put Porsche racing stripes on his Yugo. Anyways, the gold rims will be given a look after the evergreen air freshener.
