Generation 1 prius - no dedicated forum?

    Hi
    Am new to Prius chat and couldn't find a specific forum for Generation 1 Prius. Is there one?! I have been driving my Prius since 2001. I need advice re replacing the hybrid battery. My car has less than 60K on the clock. There's no rust on the body! I really don't want to give up on it but having read a bit don't want to get a new battery fitted having been quoted £1400. I am in the UK (London). Has anyone had experience with reconditioned batteries or been in a similar dilemma. Any recommendations for reconditioning HV specialists
    or any words of advice. Unsure what to do!

    Gen 1 forum is a subset located in the Gen 2 Main forum. Yeah, not intuitive, but I found it. ;)

    As you are new to Priuschat, my words of advice would be to familiarize yourself with the search box located at the top right of the page when you scroll all the way up. It works well and makes it very easy to find threads where most of everything related to your car is only a click away. The moderators do a great job of moving things to the right generation but occasionally things might show up somewhere else. Also, being Generation 1, some of your answers may be buried in old threads.

    That search box has saved me from asking a lot of questions the helpful people here have answered before.
