Now we're talkin'! My minor floaties do not interfere at all with the joy of killing mosquitoes. Hope y'all have access to 2.5 kilovolt 'tennis racket' zappers.

Here's a video on how one guy got rid of his floaters...

I'm familiar with most of the products he mentions, and they seem to be on target.

Floaters seem to be the result of fragile capillaries - basically the same action as a heart attack or stroke on a micro scale.

Another treatment is prevention by diet. In particular, Dr. Caldwell Esselystyn and several other lifestyle doctors use a plant based diet that excludes all oils. See http://www.forksoverknives.com .

Thanks. That is one thing I had to think about for a bit. I do miss the microscope ability at times.

Been wearing glasses since age 5 for myopia. Presbyopia added at age 40. Not wearing glasses (from laser reshaping) would be really weird for me. The microscopic superpower was mentioned above. Am always wearing 'safety glasses' and things do come zinging in; not just in laboratory and powertool situations. Feeling wind on my eyes is weird.
