Looks great. Did you remove the black plastic strips from the two gutters on the roof to install the wrap.
With all the heat it's going to absorb, how long will it stay black, and will it bubble? If no, then looks nice.
Yes, I removed the plastic strips before applying the wrap. And I wrapped them by carbon wrap, too. You can check again in my second picture.
3M claims that the wrap remains unchanged for 4 years outdoor and 10 years indoor. If there is no bubble when applying the wrap, will not have bubble even after sun shined.
Yes I noticed. Did the vinyl wrap come with instructions on doing this to a Prius? Or did you find instructions somewhere else? Is there a link you could provide for instructions.
No instruction comes with the vinyl wrap. But you can search the tutorial movies on youtube very easily. But for a beginner, I suggest practice on small areas first. You can kindly check my link on my signature, I made a lot of different parts before. I started on those smaller parts at the beginning. Once you got the technique, you can try bigger size. The bigger, the more difficult. Enjoy DIY !!
What about the antenna? Did you cut around it or did you have to remove the antenna for installation? I totally want to do this!
