What is wrong with the state of Flordia?

    It seems like everything that goes wrong has a Flordia connection. Over the last 8 years or so just look at some of the things that have happened there: 1. Elian Gonzalez mess, 2. Terri Schiavo mess, 3. 2000 election voting mess, 4. terrorist flight training for 9/11 mess, 5. anthrax mailings mess, 6. this current terrotist mess down there (if that is what it is), 7. shark attacks, 8. many hurricanes over last two years, 9. I'm sure I forgot some others. Maybe we should give it back to Cuba or Mexico :lol:

    Anytime you have an area where many different cultures wallow over the top of each other, you're asking for it.
    they don't understand each other, they drive differently and so misinterpret each others motives and moves
    there is much less grace for each other.

    I prefer living where its a bit more stablized.

    But there are nice places in florida... theres just some really bad ones too!

    They do have the "fountain fo youth" somewhere down there. Is that why so many retired people have moved to Florida? :blink:

    Florida is full of "farts" because of health reasons. A cold climate is very bad for many old people. Florida is an nice person backwards southern state that tries to say it's not a southern state. I have resided here for 16+ years and the politicians here are worse than back home in CT. Governor Jeb Bush is not a bad guy, but the FL House & Senate can't make any good decisions regarding the well being of working class people. We do, however have the best all around climate in the lower 48 states. I would not return to winter. Every state has it's minuses. Florida just has more idiots making high decisions like the education system-(Joke).
